Site Changes as of 1 Feb 2010

    Good afternoon! Some of you may have noticed that there have been both some major and some minor changes to the mycleaningplan.com website. The biggest being that ownership of the site has changed hands. We are committed to continuing the efforts of providing a good service to those who need it. More updates will be forthcoming, but here is what we have done so far...

    We have fixed the registration problems, we think, which should make logging in easier. we have also added a forgot password feature if you need it to reset your account password.

    We have added a username field if you go to the Update Profile section and select a username. What we have done is created this username field in order to protect your privacy when leaving posts on this forum. It will use your username instead of your email. You will still use your email to login on the main site, or if you want to login just to this forum then you'll use your username and password.

    There was an issue with updating the frequency field and day of week fields when editing a task. We believe this has been resolved now.

    As we are still working out the bugs and getting everything transferred to a new host and a new in-house programming team, we ask for your help in identifying any issues you have seen. You can post them to this forum, or use our contact us page.

    Hi, thank you. I did not receive my update. Is there a way to get an update on the morning that a task is due? I love the website It really helps me.

    Jenna - we are working on the update process and we will look into seeing about making it so that you can choose to have a daily or weekly update. Our apologies to all those who are depending on the weekly update. We will hopefully have this resolved in the next couple of days.

    I love this site.
    Thank you so much for helping me to organise my cleaning schedule.
    I have tried lots of different systems and I hope I can make this work.
    I have hesitated to pick a date for the once a month and once every 3 month jobs because I want to do them on the day I am working in that room. For example, if I pick the 1st of the month or the 15th of the month to clean the oven, that day may be a Thursday (say) but I work in the kitchen on a Wednesday. Would it be possible to pick either the first, second, third or fourth week in the month for one of these jobs?

    Should be working now. You can add a recurring task for the first, second, third, or fourth week of the month by specific day. Edit your tasks to update the frequency of the event. Thank you again for the suggestion.

    If you are using images with the room you have created, you are now able to remove those images completely rather than just changing them. This feature was created/updated on 9 Feb 2010.
